As the shown in the MSNBC video above, the BP leak might be even worse than you think. The senator of Florida reported at a hearing that if the company attempts to cap the leak, the pressure buildup from that may result in a “under ground blow out”. Meaning, the oil may begin to leak into the ocean through potential cracks in the ocean floor. An anonymous BP official was quoted stating “We discovered things broken in the subsurface and that the mud being pushed into the well to prevent oil from coming out was making it out to the side into the formation.”…uhhh, yeah… not cool!
I’d probably keep shorting BP for awhile if I were you.
