Debt Rising in Europe

This is a great interactive map by Kevin Quealy and Karl Russell of the The New York Times that show the fiscal status of the European Union.

Greece’s debt troubles are from from unique. Thirteen of the 27 European Union countries face debts equal to more than 60 percent of the gross domestic product, the limit set by the European Commission. And that group includes some of the region’s biggest economies, such as Britain and France.
